Bernard Hogancamp

Bernard William Hogancamp of Homewood, Illinois passed away peacefully on Monday, January 27th, 2025.  Preceded in death by Georgiana (Gena) Hogancamp (nee Payovich) his loving wife of nearly 60 years.  He was the father of Bernard S. Hogancamp (Jean), Caryn (Brian) Thompson, and Cheryl (Rich) Fink.  Grandfather of Samuel (Brittany) Hogancamp, Robbie Fink, Jake (Rachel) Thompson, Alex (Breanna) Hogancamp, Zach Thompson, Jeff Madden, Mike (Jen) Hopf, and Kevin (Kate) Hopf.  Great-grandfather to Carson and Cameron (Sam and Brittany) Hogancamp.   Beloved brother-in-law and "Uncle Bern" to many nieces and nephews.

He was a die-hard White Sox fan, commemorated by an engraved brick in Championship Plaza at 35th & Shields.  At his request, his interment at Oakwoods Cemetery was private, with a later celebration of his life to follow. For further information contact tews-ryanfh.com or call 708-798-5300.
