Barry M. Misch

Barry M. Misch, age 65, of Thornton, Illinois, passed away on January 13, 2025.

Born December 7, 1959, he was the beloved son of the late William and Jean Misch, grandson to Grandma "Bird" and Grandpa "Chink" Kappel, and dear brother to Rick (Peggy) Misch, Candy (Larry) Hartung, the late Bob Misch, Penny (Curt) Pence and Carrie (David) Ales.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Mary Kay Misch, his two daughters, Katie Misch and Elizabeth (Keith) Brozowski, along with his three grandbabies, Nicholas, Ameliah and Emma.

Barry was a loving father for 39 years, and a doting Papa for 13 years. He loved his grandbabies more than anything and he found his true calling in life when they were born. As he always sang "I love my little babies and my babies love me."

Barry loved to fish, and we will always cherish the memories of our family vacations in Chetek, Wisconsin. He also loved to garden and took great pride in his yard. He was the person you could always call, and if he heard his phone, he would be there in a heartbeat.

Be at peace Dad, we know you're with all your loved ones who have passed before you, and all the dogs waiting for you to throw the ball once more.  You will be dearly missed by anyone who knew you and there will be a permanent emptiness in our hearts. Until we meet again, we love you always, to the moon and back.

Per Barry's wishes there will be no funeral services.
