Barbara June Foerch

Barbra June Foerch, 92, of Hazel Crest, IL, passed away on Sunday, April 17th.

Barbra June Foerch  was born on July 18th, 1929 to Orville and Ilah Walker in Gaylord, MI.  After graduating from Marquette high school in 1947, where she was Valedictorian.  She went on to serve as a social worker at Michigan State Univ.

In 1949, she met Dick Foerch, and they wed in 1950, going on to have six children, Jeff, Brad, Steve, Doug, Laura and Shelley.

Besides the busy life of a housewife with six children, she also was faithfully involved in the First Presbyterian Church of Homewood, where she help lead BYKOTA, Women's Circle and Bible Study.

Barbra was predeceased by husband, Dick, sons Jeffery and Bradley.  She is survived by sons Steven and Douglas, daughters Laura and Shelley and nine grandchildren Richard, Andrew, Brock, Cody, Sean, Colt, Liam, Lexis, Braden.
