Barbara Ann Drewenski

Barbara Drewenski, 71, Harvey, Illinois, entered eternal life September 23, 2025. Barbara was born March 23, 1954, in Harvey, Illinois to the late Leonard F. and Stella (Kwasny) Drewenski.

Barbara attended St. John the Baptist grade school and graduated from Thornton Township High School. She retired from Carl Buddig Foods.

Barb was extremely dedicated to her family and friends. Survivors include: her sister Connie (Richard) Tomaszewski, Plainfield, In., her brothers Ron & Don Drewenski and sister Shirley Drewenski from Harvey, niece and Godchild Erin Tomaszewski, Plainfield, In, Nephew Gary (Catherine Steding) Tomaszewski, Great Nieces Lyla & Kylie Tomaszewski, Plainfield, In. Her niece Nicole (Nick) McCue, great nephew Rowan McCue, Indianapolis, In. And many cousins and friends whom she loved dearly.

Barbara was a member of St. John the Baptist Church/ Lord of Mercy and engaged in the women's group for years, participating in all the activities in the church. For many years she was also very instrumental in volunteering for the 1st Ward of the City of Harvey where she lived. Barb enjoyed a simple life, she looked forward to a quick trip to a local Casinos, Bingo Games, and Playing Cards in particular Pinocle with family and friends. Always willing to host a gathering at her home, where many people enjoyed her baked goods and shared many laughs together. Her smile was very welcoming and warm. Barbara Ann Drewenski will be dearly missed; by all who knew her.
