Annies Blum

Annies Jane Blum passed away peacefully in her sleep October 28, 2021 with her family by her side. Adored wife of the late Carl J. Blum, Jr. Caring mother of Robert (Bob) Blum and daughter-in-law Nancy, and Kenneth (Ken) Blum and daughter-in-law Mary. Loving grandmother of Juliana, Anthony, Philip, Kyle, and Mary Clare and great grandmother to Isabella, Colten, Alia, Ariana, Madden, and Layton. Dear sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Family was first and foremost and the focus of her world. Her love and kindness resonated through multiple generations and countless friends, showing all of those around her what it meant to be gracious. She spent every minute she could with family- always being front and center at little league games, basketball, soccer, choir concerts, school plays, graduations, family celebrations and other events cheering the loudest. She spent over 50 years as a floral designer, with many of those years dedicated to the Homewood Florist. She never missed the chance to spend a weekend at the lake or ice cream at DQ. There wasn't a card game she didn't play and loved to teach her great grandkids what it meant to win. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

Visitation will be 4-8 pm on Monday, November 1st Tews-Ryan Funeral Home 18230 Dixie Highway in Homewood. Everyone will meet on Tuesday for a funeral mass at 10 am at St. Joseph's Church in Homewood. November 2 ^nd . Interment at Assumption Cemetery in Glenwood immediately following.
