Annabelle Arrivo

Annabelle Arrivo (née Bresland), age 91, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025. She has been reunited with her beloved husband, Paul Arrivo Sr., after 62 years of marriage. Annabelle was a longtime resident of Homewood, formerly of Chicago's Roseland neighborhood. She was a graduate of Fenger High School, Class of 1953. Annabelle worked for over 50 years alongside her late husband, Paul Arrivo, at Homewood Florist. Throughout high school, she excelled in swimming and art and was offered a full scholarship to The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. With Paul, Annabelle raised seven children: Colleen (Ted) Johnson, Deborah Arrivo, Michael Arrivo, Marty (Kyle) Arrivo, Laura (Mike) Elsner, Paul Arrivo, and Amy (Jason) Golick. She enjoyed golfing, cooking Italian cuisine, and spending time with her husband at Calumet Country Club. After retirement, she was fortunate to spend her later years under the sun in Naples, Florida, where she was often visited by family and friends. Annabelle is survived by her seven children; her sisters, Judy Kelliher and Bonnie LeRose; and her fourteen grandchildren: Blake, Brittany (Jason), Justin (Bridget), Daniel (Carol), Reilly (Kylee), Nicholas (Susie), Anthony, Kailey (David), Jake, Trevor, Paul, Angela, Dominic, and Anna; and her three great-grandchildren, Frances, Violet, and Noah Scheffke.
