Alex Kusner

Alex Kusner, age 34, of Flossmoor. Beloved son of Stella and Michael Kusner. Loving brother of Nicholas Kusner (Amanda Grilli). Cherished grandson of Bob and Terry Kusner and Esperanza and the late Walter Kania. Dear nephew of Margie Kania, Rich Kania, Irene (John) Silva, Joe Kania, Sonia (Howard) Mahoney, Michael (Kathleen) Kania, Eddie (Violet) Kania, Liz (Sam) Pollina, Mary Kay (Deke) Oosterbaan, Nancy Kusner (Graham Kresfelder), Bobbie (Eileen) Kusner, Jenny (Jack) Sullivan, Tommy (Paola) Kusner and Danny Kusner. Loving uncle to Charlie Kusner and cousin and friend to many.

Alex lived in the city he cherished, Chicago, and was avid in discovering local history. He was passionate about music and playing in bands with friends, was a carpenter by trade and preservationist by hobby; Alex loved restoring old homes and furniture and collecting and finding the unusual. He especially loved his adopted dogs Algar, Egon and Gozer.
