Judith A. Niemiec

Judith A. Niemiec (nee Covert), March 25, 1937 – March 23, 2019, Late of Homewood.  Beloved daughter of the late Mary Lou and Robert Covert.  Born and raised in Chicago's South shore neighborhood, then Flossmoor.  She spent 30 years living in Pompano Beach, FL but moved back to Homewood to be close to family.  She was preceded in death by son Robert Niemiec and survived by son Michael Niemiec and daughter-in-law Francine Niemiec. She was a beloved grandmother to 5 grandchildren, Heather Niemiec (Gillman, IL), Darcy Niemiec (Piper City, IL) and Miranda Niemiec (Gillman, IL) and Charlie and Mitchell Niemiec (Flossmoor, IL). She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren. Judy adored animals, especially her longtime companion Priscilla. She was loved by her dear neighbors and will be missed greatly.
